The fire lookout towers have glass roofs and are set in a forested property with a creek and pond for a serene and natural environment. The property is 30 miles to Hiawatha trail and 7 miles to historic downtown Wallace, ID.
Each fire lookout tower has a full size bed, a kitchen, bathroom, wood burning stove, and solar power for charging phones. The property has a sauna, fire pit, ax throwing, hiking trails, fishing, and scenic, 360-views.
The historic city of Wallace, Idaho is where the Great Fire of 1910 started, also known as the “Big Burn” and one of the US’s largest forest fires in history. The MoonPass Lookout property will boast The Fire Lookout Museum.
One of the heroes of the Great Burn is Ed Pulaski, who led his firefighting crew to safety in a mine shaft, which is a beautiful 5 mile hike from our MoonPass property.
